Our story
Ardor Custom Designs was started by Josh & Kendra Wilmot, a husband-wife duo located in Southern Idaho. Josh started ACD as a painting company in 2016. With the support and referrals from a base of loyal customers, it quickly grew into more than just painting and expanded to include remodeling as well.
In 2020 Kendra began working full-time for Ardor and brought with her, her interior design expertise and the company once again expanded its services.
Ardor Custom Designs is now a full-service Interior Design Build company offering our clients the ability to come to one place that can handle everything from concept through completion of any home project.

Josh Wilmot
Josh is a master craftsman whose passion for construction runs generations deep.
Josh grew up immersed in the world of construction, learning the trade from his grandfather and parents, who instilled in him a simple but lasting principle: “Do what you do and do it well.” That early foundation shaped a career defined by skill, integrity, and attention to detail.
With a degree in business management and decades of hands-on experience, Josh has become a trusted expert in home remodeling. He’s overseen projects of every scale, drawing on deep practical knowledge to ensure every job is completed right the first time.

Kendra Wilmot
Kendra is a licensed general contractor and certified interior designer with years of hands-on experience in both new construction and remodeling projects. Known for her keen eye and practical approach, she thrives on turning ordinary spaces into functional, beautiful homes that truly reflect the people who live in them.
Her background in both construction and design allows her to bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring each project not only looks stunning but also works for everyday life.
She believes that every home’s style should be shaped by the client’s tastes and needs, not just current trends or cookie-cutter designs. Driven by a passion for transformation and a belief in truly personalized service, Kendra continues to set a high standard in her field, one beautiful, functional home at a time.
